Tushar Khot

I am a Member of Technical Staff at Microsoft AI, Redmond, where I have worked on pre-training for VLM grounding, imbuing agentic capabilities for Microsoft Excel, and building helpful coding assistants. Prior to this, I was a Staff Research Scientist at Google DeepMind working on Gemini-based browser agents, and a Lead Research Scientist at Allen Institute for AI (AI2). My research spans various aspects of solving complex reasoning tasks — building benchmarks, baselines and general-purpose solutions (incl. symbolic, neural and agent-based approaches).
